Show Events Climax Stake M Men gleaner Week Approximately fifty M Men and Gleaners of the Roosevelt LDS stake joined in a party at the stake house, last Saturday night, with the activity commencing com-mencing with numerous games. A buffet luncheon was then served with attractive food delicacies deli-cacies and the centerpiece symbolic sym-bolic of the MIA colors, gold and green. The centerpiece consisted con-sisted of yellow jonquils and, gilted sheaths of wheat, accent-, ed by gold tapers. The group! sat at small tables centered with a yellow jonquil and the gilted wheat. , Following the luncheon, skits were presented and round dancing dan-cing enjoyed, under the super-, vision of Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Brown, of Montwel. Mr. and Mrs. Lee Ottosen, stake leaders, appointed Mr. and Mrs. Ted Olpin as co-chairmen. Luncheon arrangements were under the direction of Mrs. Wesley Wes-ley R. Dickerson and Mrs. Lula Mullins. Stake Fireside The stake M Men and Glean-' Glean-' er week was climaxed Sunday evening by a Fireside Chat at the Roosevelt stake house. Mel-vin Mel-vin Peterson, Union High Seminary Sem-inary instructor, was the main speaker. A musical reading, 'The Gleaner Sheath," was read by I Edith Ha. dinger, and the song, "King of Glory," was sung by ; I Donna Tietjen, accompanied by , j Helen Larson. , . |
