Show Mrs. Violet Gentry Mrs. Bertha Angus DINNER HOSTESS Mrs. Lucy Edwards was hostess hos-tess to the Thursday club at her home, March 12th. After spending a very pleasant afternoon, after-noon, a chicken dinner was enjoyed en-joyed by the following members mem-bers and guests: Olive Sorensen, Edith Gentry, Mattie Mortensen, . Gladys Dart, Jo Yergenson, Sarah Sar-ah Brokaw and Violet Gentry. Mrs. Clarence Jones and children, chil-dren, of Roosevelt, were Sunday Sun-day guests of Mrs. Clayton Webb. Mr. and Mrs. Tuff Reay visited vis-ited in Altonah, Sunday. Mrs. Dick Fausett and children, chil-dren, of Upalco, spent Wednesday Wednes-day with her mother, Mrs. Olive Sorsensen. Virgil Ferguson made a business busi-ness trip to Wyoming, recently. Mrs. Estella Broome, Mrs. Gladys Harris and Mrs. Iola Sands were luncheon guests of Mrs. Gladys Dart, Wednesday. The Imperial Hall at Vernal is where 10 teen-agers from here went skating Friday night. Mr. and Mrs. James Zobell went to Utahn, Wednesday night to attend the wedding dance of Mr. and Mrs. Don, Harrison. Mr. and Mrs. Aaron Harrison and Leland Stott, of Provo, visited vis-ited Friday to Sunday with the Otto Lloyds. Mr. and Mrs. C. F. Johanson and 3 daughters, Diane, Janet and Cherrie, spent Saturday and Sunday here in interest of their property. They visited Mrs John Angus and the Jack Spencers. Spen-cers. They also attended Sunday School. Dr. and Mrs,. Kenneth Benson and 3 children, of Richfield, were here visiting their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Archie Benson, Sunday. EaVette Percival celebrated her 12th birthday Saturday. Some of her friends visited her. They packed a lunch and went on a hike. Mr. and Mrs. Archie Benson received wprd of a grandson, born March' 5th at Cedar City, to Mr. and Mrs. Maurice Benson. Ben-son. , , , Mr. and Mrs. Doyle Lloyd went to Salt Lake City Thursday, Thurs-day, where Mr. Lloyd received medical aid. Mrs. John Angus received word of a new great-granddaughter, born Feb. 27th to Mr. and Mrs. Scotty Littlejohn, of Hiawatha. Myrtle. Fausett, who was thought to be improving from her recent illness, was taken to a Salt Lake hospital, where her condition is not good. Dr. Maurice Benson, of Cedar City and Clair Benson, of St. George, visited Friday with their parents. Mr. and Mrs. Boyd Gross-nickle Gross-nickle have moved into the Win-terton Win-terton place. Speakers at Sacrament meeting meet-ing Sunday were Mr. and Mrs. Barth Stone, of Salt Lake City. Special musical number was a piano solo by Burke Eldredge, of Roosevelt. While working at the cafe in Roosevelt, Thursday, Mrs. Charles Hardman burned her hands and arm very badly. |
