Show MONT HELL By Beiiie Mower Couple Married On Friday, 13th Miss June Hardman, daughter of Mr., and Mrs. Charles Hard-man, Hard-man, of Ioka, was married to David Hackford, son of Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Hackford, of Gusher, Gush-er, Friday, March 13 at 7:30 p.m. at the home of her sister, Mrs. Norman Fenn. It was a candlelight ceremony and Clifford Clif-ford Drollinger, of the stake presidency, officiated. The bride was dressed in pink satin over-skirted over-skirted with net. It was strapless strap-less with a net stole, and a pink rose corsage to go with- it. Carol Lynn Cook was maid of . honor and she was dressed in i red and blue changeable taffe-j ta with a black stole. The bridesmaids brides-maids wore ballerina length net formals. They were Lu Jean Jennings, Bertie Lisonbee, Ra- mona Neilson, Carol Swain and Leota Pitt. Mrs. Hardman was dressed in black satin and Mrs. Hackford was dressed 'in a blue suit. El-doris El-doris Fenn, sister of the bride' wore a red nylon dress and matching accessories. There were 62 present. A wedding dance was held at Altonah directly after the wedding. wed-ding. Mrs. Norman Fenn attended the reception held at Mrs. Geo. Fenn's in Roosevelt, Saturday, March 14th, for Mr. and Mrs. Merlin Fenn. , Mr. and Mrs. George Hunt and family have returned, after af-ter spending the winter in Parker, Par-ker, Arizona. Mr. and Mrs. Bryan Roberts and daughter, Mary Jane, of Pleasant Grove, visited relatives here over the weekend. i Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Parry, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Nelson, Mr. and Mrs. Henry" Nelson and Mr. and Mrs. Max Nelson celebrated celebrat-ed James Powell's 52nd birthday birth-day anniversary Saturday evening, eve-ning, March 14th. SUNDAY SCHOOL PARTY A Sunday School party was held at the church house Friday for the Advanced Juniors. Those present were, Valeen- and Naomi Na-omi Adams, Inez Brown, Mary Dale Hamblin, Robert Dugdale, Cecil Johnson, Dwain Boren, Lars Powell and Jerry Parry. They played games and enjoyed a picnic lunch. Mr. and Mrs. Ed Hullinger and Lynn and Sharon spent a few days last week visiting in Pleasant Grove with relatives. Lale Lorranger went to River-ton, River-ton, Wyoming last week and helped move Charles Crow and his family from Riverton to Neola. Mr. and Mrs. Dan Pace attended at-tended the graveside services of the infant son of Mr. and Mrs. Earl Labrum, of Vernal, Mon- day at Roosevelt. Jack Almon and family and his father, of Salt Lake, visited with the Max Nelsons, Sunday. The Almons formerly lived here. Mrs. Golda Adams was a stake visitor at Primary, Tuesday. Tues-day. Mr. and Mrs. Lee Blanchard, of Bountiful, Utah, (former residents res-idents of Montwel), spent last week "here." They returned Sunday. Sun-day. The Ed Hullingers have purchased pur-chased a new '53 Chevrolet. |
