""pntt Baptist Leaders Meet Here In Utah Conference The Roosevelt Baptist church entertained messengers from 8 Baptist churches and three Baptist Bap-tist missions of the Utah Baptist Bap-tist Association for a Workers conference on Thursday, March 12. Sessions began at 10 a.m. and continued throughout the day and evening. The theme of this monthly workers conference was "New Testament Evangelism." This conference was used to discuss plans for the Simultaneous Revivals Re-vivals to be held in the Southern South-ern Baptist Churches of Utah from April 12-16, 1953. . Present to help in the planning was Dr. LeRoy Smith, of Phoenix, "Ariz., who' is Secretary of Evangelism for the Baptist General Convention Conven-tion of Arizona. . Rev. Felder Cade Was scheduled sched-uled to appear on the program but due to sickness could not be present. The next monthly Workers Conference of the Utah Baptist Association will be held at the First Baphst Church of Rov " Uah with an emphasis on For eign Mission work. Mrs Pearl Johnson, one of the last South ern Baptist missionaries to leave China after Communists tor over, will be the featured speak er.
