Show UfilTEROCKS Madeena Smith !le lief Societies Meet Together The two Relief Societies were held together Wednesday. The day was spent quilting and teaching the Indian ladies to crochet. Chester Smith returned Tuesday Tues-day from a trip to Arizona and Old Mexico. Little Dennis Crozier had his tonsils removed at the Roosevelt Roose-velt hospital Tuesday. The missionaries held a dance with the Indian children Tuesday Tues-day evening. Peter Garcia and children left for New Mexico, Wednesday. Wednes-day. Mrs. Ora Ellingford has been in Vernal several days this week to help take care of her mother. Preston Atwood and family, of Pleasant Grove, were visiting visit-ing in Whiterocks Sunday. Those attending Union meeting meet-ing Sunday at Roosevelt were, Mr. and Mrs. Virgil Robb, Ruth Murray, Edith Oberhansly, Mr. and Mrs. Elbert Smith, and Ver-na Ver-na Hoops. Mr. and Mrs. Leland Moos-man Moos-man and Bishop Ellingford went to Vernal Sunday evening to visit Mrs. Matilda Moosman and bring Mrs. Ellingford home. The misisonaries held a cottage cot-tage meeting at the home of Johnson Wapsock, Sunday evening. |
