Show Funeral Services Held For F. M. Rasmussen Funeral services for Francis Marion Rasmussen were held) last Saturday at 2 p.m. in the Roosevelt Stake House, under the direction of the Roosevelt LDS Second ward, with Melvin J. Petersen conducting. Mr. Rasmussen died Tuesday, March 10, at the Altamont School of a heart attack. Program for the service went forward as follows: opening prayer, Lamont Nielson; vocal duet, "Oh, My Father," Mr. and Mrs. Dwain Buchanan; remarks. Walter Atwood; vocal solo, "Lay My Head Beneath a Rose," Grant Peel; remarks, Cliff Mick-elson; Mick-elson; vocal solo, "Always," Ray Johnston; remarks, E. L. Mur-nhv. Mur-nhv. Dresident of the Duchesne County Board of Education; remarks, re-marks, Melvin Petersen; closing prayer, Russell Todd of the L. D. S. .stake presidency. Prelude and postlude music was played by Mrs. R. V. Larson. Lar-son. Burial was in the Roosevelt cemetery under direction of Olpin Ol-pin Mortuary. The grave was dedicated by J. Errol Huker, and the flowers were in charge of the Relief Society. The name of Mary Anne Rasmussen, Ras-mussen, mother of the deceased, was erroneously omitted in the list of survivors in last week's paper. |
