Show 8UJI Mrs. Garda Scaler Ward Penny Drive Nets $37.54 Total The Bluebell ward Primary officers ended their "Penny Drive" last week with a total of $37.54 in pennies. This money mon-ey goes to help the Primary Children's hospital. Afton Seeley, of Salt Lake City, visited on Tuesday a short time here with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. M. C. Seeley. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Smith and family visited here recently recent-ly with relatives. The Smiths are now making their home in Grace, Idaho. John Asa Webb, who is serving ser-ving in the army, is spending his furlough here with his parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. Orie Cook. Visitors and speakers at Sacrament Sac-rament meeting on Sunday were Mr. and Mrs. Elton Rust, of Talmage; Mr. and Mrs. Reed Lyons -and daughter, Connie, of Mt. Home, and Dallas Ames, of Altonah. Mr. Lyons also' sang "Beyond the Sunset." A large crowd from Bluebell attended the "Rural Education Day" at Altamont on Friday. Everyone expressed it was a very worthwhile meeting and the program at night from the B.Y.U. .by the "South Sea Islanders" Is-landers" was very interesting and enjoyable. Mrs. Jennie Goodrich accompanied accom-panied Morris Monson to Provo on Friday to get his wife who has spent the past week there receiving medical treatment and visiting with her sister and family, Mr. and Mrs. Alma Richman. They returned home Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Bud Jackson and two daughters, of Ogden, spent the weekend here with Mrs. Jackson's parents, Bishop and Mrs. James I. Bird. Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy Bird took their small son to Salt Lake City on Thursday for medical med-ical treatment. Mrs. Myrle Lisonbee Lis-onbee and Miss Jolene Nielson accompanied them there. They all returned home Friday. Fourteen members of the ward attended stake choir practice prac-tice at Upalco Sunday evening. They were: Thelma Cook, Laura Lau-ra Seeley, Mr. and Mrs. Norman Nor-man Goodrich, Garda Seeley, Pres. and Mrs. Bernard Winkler, Wink-ler, Mr. and Mrs. Wm. O. Lar-sen, Lar-sen, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Remington, Rem-ington, Pauline Winkler, Afton Smithson and Twila Larsen. Mr. and Mrs. Dick Clark and family moved back to' Altonah on Sunday to make their home. |
