Show Myton Boys Weds Utahn Girl Of interest to Myton friends was the wedding of Don Harris, son of Mrs. Leonard Harris, to Beulah Mayhew, daughter of Mrs. Delia Mayhew, of Utahn. The marriage was solemnized in the Utahn ward chapel, Saturday, Sat-urday, March 14, at 7 p.m. with Bishop Leland Wright, of Utahn officiating. The newlyweds will make their , home in Myton. Mrs. Harris and other members of the family attended the wedding. wed-ding. Miss Jenene Harris, sister of the groom, was the bride's attendant. Mr. and Mrs. Vaughn Harris and family came from Salt Lake City Saturday for a weekend visit with Mr: Harris' mother, Mrs. Leonard Harris, and with Mrs. Harris' parents, Mr. and Mrs. H. L. Crapo. They attended the wedding of Mr. Harris' brother, Don, at Utahn while here. Mr. and Mrs. A. C. Tolboe enjoyed a visit from Mrs. Violet Schlegel and daughter and son-in-law, of Minturn, Colorado, Friday. Mrs. Schlegel is Mrs. Tolboe's aunt. They were en-route en-route to Gusher, where they would spend the weekend with Mrs. A. D. Semken, Mrs. Sohle-gel's Sohle-gel's mother. Mr. and Mrs. Farrell Purcell and children came from Logan for a long weekend at the home of Mrs. Purcell's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ted Thomas. Mr. and Mrs. Syerl Dennis enjoyed en-joyed a weekend visit from their son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Gail Dennis, and small son, who came from Salt Lake City. Mr. and Mrs. James Hill returned re-turned Saturday from a two weeks' business and pleasure trip to Midlands, Texas. Mr. Hill is an employee of an oil company com-pany and will now be transferred trans-ferred to Riverton, Wyoming. Mr. and Mrs. Owen Payne, of Provo, were weekend visitors at the home of Mrs. Payne's mother, Mrs. Alice Bywater. Mrs. Laura Hall and two children, chil-dren, of Salt Lake City, arrived Wednesday for a visit with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Reuben Snvder. Her- husband came Sat urday evening for a weekend visit at the Snyder home. Mrs. Virginia Roberts was selected se-lected to serve as chairman for cultural projects of Duchesne County at the Rural Education Conference at Altamont, Friday. Mrs. Lena Lisonbee was elected representative from Myton to serve on the cultural project committee. Howard Funk, who' is attend-1 attend-1 ing the U.S.A.C. at Logan, spent the weekend visiting his parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. George Funk. Mrs. Nephi Porritt was taken to the Roosevelt hospital Friday and at this writing is steadily improving. , Mr. and Mrs. Don Snyder and Mr. and Mrs. Glen Snyder, of Quincy, Wash., were visitors on Sunday at the ranch home of ' their uncle and aunt, Mr. and; Mrs. Reuben Snyder. They were ': returning home from a quick j trip to Colorado, where they) were called by the illness of their mother, Mrs. Lee Snyder.; The Snyder family are former Myton residents. ! Mr. and Mrs. James Dalgleish spent Sunday in Duchesne to visit Mrs. Dalgleish's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ed Hart. Mr. and Mrs. B. L. Dart, of Price, visited at the ranch home of Mr. and Mrs. O. A. Dart, and with Myton friends, Monday. Mon-day. Mr. Dart had been attending attend-ing court in Duchesne and they completed the afternoon here, before returning home. |
