Show UPALCO Lemo William Dinner Honors Visiting Soldier A dinner was held in honor of Lt. Dale Cummings at the home of Mr. and Mrs. F. C. Cummings and Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Oummings, of Upalco. Those present were Lt. Cummings, Cum-mings, Mr. and Mrs. Lee Jensen Jen-sen and family, of Neola, and Mr. and Mrs. Sharon Cummings and family, of Roosevelt. Lt. Cummings has to report Feb. 20, at Madigan Army Hospital, Hos-pital, Tacoma, Washington. Lemo Williams. Laura Potts, Georgia Durfey, Neal Knight, Shirley Iorg, Larry Mitchell, Donald Durfey, Betty Iorg, lone Mitchell, Wanda Mitchell, Nana Mitchell, Carma Fussett, Richard Rich-ard Fussett and Dick Fussett, bus driver, attended the basketball basket-ball game at Altamont between Altamont and Uintah, Wednesday Wednes-day night. A dinner party was held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Ken-neth Carrell. honoring Mr. Car-rell Car-rell on his birthday anniversary. Present were Mr. and Mrs. Fred Carrell, Mr. and Mrs. M. G. Williams, of Upalco; Mr. and Mrs. Elvin Thacker and family, of Mt. Emmons; and the honor-guest honor-guest and his family. A Scout banquet was held in the Upalco Ward Hall Tuesday evening. A large crowd attended. attend-ed. A program was put on by the families of members of the bishopric. i Mr. and Mrs. Reed Clayburn, of Bridgeland, visited Thursday afternoon with Mr. and Mrs. Percy Potts. Zeary, Mathews, of Roosevelt, is helping his nephew, William Mathews, build a new home in Upalco. Don Knight, of Woodland, visited during the week with Mr. and Mrs. Leland Potts. Those who attended the wedding wed-ding dance of Mr. and Mrs. Erwin Rust, of Mt. Emmons, Saturday Sat-urday night were Mr. and Mrs. Claude Iorg and family, Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Cummings and son, Lt. Dale Cummings, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Cummings, and Mrs. Wayne Williams and children. chil-dren. Those who attended the show in Altamont Saturday night were Mr. and Mrs. Percy Potts, Mr. and Mrs. Hugo Mitchell and family, E. L. Murphy, Mrs. Bill Taylor and children, and Mr3. Wayne Williams and children. Mickey Iorg, of Clearfield, spent the weelc end with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Claude Iorg. Mr. and Mrs. Leo Page and family, of Kamas, visited with Mr. and Mrs. Lee Potts and family, Sunday. Floid Case, of Mt. Emmons and Leon Burton, of Talmage, were the speakers at the Upalco Ward Sunday School meeting. |
