Show Primary Ends Penny Drive The officers of the ward Primary Pri-mary conducted their annual Birthday Penny drive last Thursday evening. A door-to-door canvass met with a generous gen-erous response. After all the homes had been visited, the officers of-ficers met at the home of their president, Mrs. Leslie J. Orr, for a pot-luck supper. Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Hartman and Mrs. Max Hartman made a business trip to Vernal. Friday. Jeanette Smithson, of Neola, is here for a visit with her sister, sis-ter, Afton. The latter ML-.S ! Smithson teaches in the elernen tary grades at Altamont. Mr. and Mrs. Alma S. Car-Ule. Car-Ule. of Woodland, were week end guests of their daughte , Mrs. Gordon Case. Deane, Peggy Ann and George Case, students at B.Y.U.. spent the week end at home. Mr. and Mrs. Evan Hansen made a trip to Salt Lake Friday Fri-day afternoon, returning Sunday Sun-day evening. They were accom-nanied accom-nanied by Mr. and Mrs. Chester Hartman, who remained in Salt Lake for medical treatment for Mr. Hartman. Mr. and Mrs. Edgar H. Mils left Monday for a trip to the coast. They will visit Los ? Angeles An-geles and other Southern California Cal-ifornia cities while awav. Dinner guests at the Flovi Case home, Sunday, were Mr. anri Mrs. Kelly Snro'use and children, of R o o s e v e 1 1. an '1 Moyle Parker, of American Fork. Orson Monson was taken to the Roosevelt Hospital last week for treatment of another heart attack. His condition was improved im-proved at last reports. Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Youn? went to Bridgpland Saturday night to attend the weddin? reception re-ception honoring Mr. and Mrs. LeGrande Gilbert. |
