Show Stella Underwood Mr. and Mrs. Hyrum Dom-gaard Dom-gaard and Mr. and Mrs. Weston Justice attended the R.E.A. meeting at Mt. Emmons Monday. Mon-day. The small daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bud Markey was quite ill several days last week with tonsilitis. Mr. and Mrs. Denver Long, of Vernal, had their baby daughter daugh-ter blessed last Sunday. Mrs. j Long is the daughter of Mr. and : Mrs. Alex Duvall. Mrs. Alex Duvall accompanied her daughter daugh-ter to Vernal and spent the week there, returning home Saturday. Mrs. Dorothy Brandt spent last week in Salt Lake on business busi-ness and visiting relatives. Mr. and Mrs. Lowell Duvall, of Pleasant Grove, were week end visitors at the home of Mr. Duvall's parents. Neldon Duvall accompanied them to his home here. The Baptist Bible Study Class was held at the Hyrum Dom-gaard Dom-gaard hom6 Thursday night, Fourteen were present to hear a special visitor, Floyd Ray, a missionary from Idaho. Refreshments Re-freshments were served. Weldon Burson has returned to his home here. He has been working outside the Uintah Basin Ba-sin for the past few years. On account of conference at Roosevelt, there was no Sunday Sun-day School service at the Moffat Mof-fat Ward Chapel last Sunday. After Sunday School at the Baptist Mission this week, ail in attendance were taken to. the Roosevelt Baptist Church for morning preaching service. A special sermon was given by Floyd Ray, a missionary from Idaho. Harry Dahlberg, son of Mrs. Vonnie Dahlberg, has enlisted in the Navy and is now in training train-ing at San Francisco, Calif. |
