Show Needs City Support . . . . Region 5 Music Meet Scheduled For Roosevelt Roosevelt City will be host for the Region 5 Music Festival, scheduled for Friday and Saturday, Sat-urday, April 25 and 26, is an announcement made this week. by Principal Lawrell Jensen of the Junior High School, chairman chair-man for the event. Decision ' for " the festival to be held in Roosevelt resulted from a meeting held Tuesday evening at the Elementary School, when, twenty-seven interested in-terested citizens and club representatives rep-resentatives convened to discuss the matter. It was voted at the meeting to name a general committee, consisting of all the school principals, prin-cipals, the superintendent and a member of the city council, who will have the authority to name others to the committee as they see fit. Various clubs were suggested to take the responsibility for the necessary committees, but will not be listed until they are notified and have accepted. Avard Rigby, principal ' of Uintah High School, was present and gave valuable information concerning the handling of the festival, which Vernal has played host to several times. In attendance at the meeting meet-ing were Principal Lawrell Jensen, Jen-sen, Dean C. Christensen. Principal Prin-cipal John Blaine, Principal L. F. Hutchings, Principal Avard Rigby, Ken Bearden, A.
