Show tfauftett Viola Jensen Water Company Names Officers The Ouray Park Irrigation Co. held its annual stockholders meeting on Monday, Feb. 4, at the Avalon Chapel. Officers were elected as follows: Harold Dudley, retained as president; Vern Huff, vice president; Austin Aus-tin Wardle, Blake V. Peay and Willard Wall, directors; B. O. Colton, secretary. The Leota and Randlett Pri-. Pri-. mary organizations sold dinner to the stockholders. Mrs. Sadie Peay and children, Bryon and Bonnie, have returned re-turned to their home after visiting vis-iting in Provo for the past month. Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Anderson An-derson and family went to Leota Le-ota to attend Sunday School, since their was no heat in our chapel due to the electricity being dff. The Randlett Relief Society met Tuesday at the home of Mrs. Lula Dudley. Class leader, Colleen Wahlquist gave the lesson. les-son. Mrs. B. O. Colton visited Monday Mon-day at the home of her daugn-ter, daugn-ter, Mrs. Lula Dudley. Roosevelt visitors Wednesday of last week were Bishop and Mrs. Franklin L. Jarman. Mrs. Alice Wall, Mr. and Mrs. Edgar Jensen and family. A meeting was held Thursday at the Avalon Chapel to discuss rat control. A "farewell party honoring Clifford Moore was held Thursday Thurs-day evening. Clifford left Monday Mon-day to join the armed forces. Mr. and Mrs. Duane Wall, of Vernal, visited recently at the home of Mr. Wall's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Wall. Mr. and Mrs. Edgar Jensen were Vernal visitors, Friday. Misses Deon Wall and Peggy Wardle entertained their friends at a Valentine party Saturday afternoon at the home of Deon Wall. Miss Marian Jensen, of Roosevelt, Roos-evelt, spent the week end visiting vis-iting at the home of her parents. par-ents. Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Jensen. Blake Peay, Jr., of Provo, is visiting at the home of his parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. Blake V. Peay. Mrs. Gladys Jarman helped Cook at the Avalon School last week, replacing Mrs. Mary Young, who was very ill. The Singing Mothers met at the home of Mrs. Eugenia Pickup Pick-up Wednesday evening. Mrs. Nettie O. Remington, the school nurse, visited the Avalon School on Feb. 6. |
