Show "IT Alumni Plans Annual Dinner; To Hear Pres. Olpin Definite plans are under way for the Duchesne County University Uni-versity of Utah Alumni Club to join the annual Founders' Day celebration, which will be observed ob-served in just abcrut every county coun-ty in the state, as well as in many other areas from New York to San Francisco, sometime some-time during the last week in February. According to Cliff Memmott, president of the Duchesne County Coun-ty club, present plans call for the local celebration to be held on Tuesday, Feb. 26. at the Frontier Grill in Roosevelt, and the feature of the occasion will be the presence of A. Ray Olpin, president of the University, who will deliver the major address of the evening. The party will be a dinner-meeting. Other officers of the Duchesne County club who are assisting with arrangements are Mrs. Wanda B. Riggle, first vice-president; Dr. Paul Stringham. second sec-ond vice-president; Mrs. Ida S. Harrison, secretary, and James R. Hail, treasurer. Other alumnus alum-nus will aid on various committees. commit-tees. . . A special call and invitation is being extended all who have attended the University of Utah since it was founded to join in the 1952 party. Whether a graduate grad-uate or not, if you have attended the "U", you are considered an alumnus and are urged to join in this year's celebration. In the near future, reservation cards will be sent to all known alumnus giving them an opportunity oppor-tunity to make, commitments.
