Show teetoH-eHHett Mrs. Fern Houston Work Planned At Leeton Well Laughlin Brothers are rigging up for a workover job on the Leeton No. 1 well, to under-ream under-ream from the bottom of the casing to a total depth of 10,068 feet. Bill Coltharp had a bulldozer working at the Leeton well, clearing away the snow and mud to prepare the ground for the new engine house. It is of heavy aluminum and was shipped from the factory at Parkersburg, West Virginia. It is a beautiful room. Mr. and Mrs. Clair Haslem and son, Billie, Mr. and Mrs. Winfred Long and son, Lowell D., attended the Gold and Green Ball at the Whiterocks Chapel Tuesday evening of last week. They especially enjoyed the floor show. Thursday afternoon, Mrs. Dick Coltharp had a birthday party for her daughter, Diane, who is three years old. The theme was Valentine Day. Mothers who accompanied ac-companied their children were Mrs. Keith Bowen, with daugn-ter, daugn-ter, Sandra; Mrs. Paul String-ham, String-ham, with son. Chucky; Mrs. Mark Oberhansley, with daughters, daugh-ters, Susan and Sally; Mrs. Bill Coltharp, with daughter, n ranees Ann; Mrs. Ned Coltharp, witn son, Gordon; and Friuuc, Bill and Jack Houston, accompanied by their grandmother, xvus. W. H. Coltharp. The tailoring class given by Mrs. Freda Davis of the Extension Exten-sion Service, was held two days at the home of Mrs. Fern Houston Hous-ton and four days at the Ward House. There were several suits and coats made that were of very fine workmanship. Mr. and Mrs. Ned Coltharp. and Mr. and Mrs. Dick Coltharp have gone to Salt Lake City on business and pleasure to be away for several days. Mr. and Mrs. Bob Dean are caring for their children and feeding the cattle while they are away. Mr. and Mrs. George Kohl, of Duchesne, spent Sunday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Eu-gene Harmston. Dinner was served to Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Harmston, Mr. and Mrs. George Miller and Mr. and Mrs. Kohl, and the afternoon was spent playing canasta. Isobel Harmston Harm-ston won high score. |
