Show 1 Impressive Wedding Ceremony Unites Couple In Oklahoma WHITEROCKS Impressive wedding wed-ding rites at Stillwater, Oklahoma, Wednesday, Feb. 15, united in marriage mar-riage Miss Elizabeth York and Le-roy Le-roy Coggins. The bride is the daughter of Rev. and Mrs, T.. H. York of Whiterocks, Utah, and has been residing in Oklahoma City. Parents of the bridegroom are' Mr. and Mrs. Frank Croggins of Thomasvill'e, North Carolina. The ceremony took place at 9:00 p.m. at the home of the bride's aunt, Mrs. W. H. Easton, with the bride's father, Rev.. T, H. York, officiating, assisted by Rev. S. M. Maddox. The' young couple stood in an archway banked with greenery and white gladioli, with candelabra on either side. Given in marriage by her father, the bride was radiant in a wedding gown of white lace over taffeta, enhanced by a shoulder length white lace veil. She carried a white' Bible topped with white gardenias. Her only attendant was Miss Don Ross, who wore a mauve color col-or dress and carried a colonial bouquet of purple carnations. Best man duties were assumed by Jim Clark and usher was James D. Easton, Betty Jean Wise and Bob Easton were candle lighters. Following the wedding a reception recep-tion honored the newlyweds at the Easton home. The lace covered table was attractive with pink and white daisies accented with lighted tapers in crystal candelabra. The beautiful white wedding cake was decorated with pink roses with two pastel pink wedding bells on top. Miss Betty Jean Wise and Miss Norma Jean Cruse assisted with the serving and Marly's Easton, cousin of the bride was assigned to the guest book. |
