Show Roosevelt Stake Calls LFX Angus As Mission Leader Following the release of Ray E. Dillman as president of the Roosevelt Roose-velt stake mission, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, who with his wife has left for Hawaii where he will preside over the Temple there, the appointment of Leland M. Angus to succeed Pres. Dillman has been announced by Stake President Hollis G. Hul-linger. Hul-linger. When Pres. Dillman had been called about three months ago to head the stake mission he selected Pres. Angus as his first counselor: Therefore, it was natural that the latter should be called to this task. Coincidental with his call as a counselor to Pres. Dillman in the stake mission is the fact that when the latter was released as president of the Roosevelt stake prior to going to the Western States as mission president, Mr. Angus was his counselor in the' stake presidency. The new mission president has a life of activity in the church back of him, having served as a bishop, high councilman, in the stake presidency and for nearly five' years was president of the Roosevelt stake High Priests Quorum. Quor-um. He has not chosen his counselors coun-selors at this time. He was sustained sus-tained last Sunday at the monthly Melchizedek priesthood leadership meeting. Change Made In Primary Another change was made Sunday Sun-day when Mrs. Rose Olsen was released as first counselor in the stake Primary presidency, and Mrs. Verda Campbell, second counselor coun-selor was advanced to first, and Mrs. Geneial Jensen was called as second counselor. Mrs, Olsen and Mrs. Jensen are both from the (Continued on Back Page) ROOSEVELT LDS STAKE . . . (Continued from Page 1) Neol'a ward and Mrs. Campbell is from the' Roosevelt ward. Mrs. Lecta Horrocks of Neola, is stake Primary president. |
