Show Sattatd Ellen Bracken Phone 62062 Witness Marriage Mr. and Mrs. Junior Betts and three of their children enjoyed a day or two last week visiting Mrs. Betts' parents, Mr. and Mrs. Dewey Dew-ey McConkie. On Monday they witnessed the marriage of Mr. and Mrs. Grant Jarman in the LDS Temple. WORK DAY IS HELD Work day was held at Relief Society on Tuesday, Feb. 14, with a very good crowd in attendance. A quilt was made for Mrs. Barta Jenkins. Mrs, Kine Hatch presented present-ed the lesson outlined for work day. A delicious lunch was served the group by Mrs. Osa Hulhnger and Mrs. Florell Collins, with the ladies in the beat assisting. Many of the' children at Alterra and pre-school children received their last innoculations on Sunday by Mrs. Alta Rust and her helper. Mr. and Mrs. Russel Todd now of Randlett, accompanied Mr. and Mrs. Wendel' Johnson to the Temple Tem-ple Excursion in Salt Lake' City., Feb. 10. Mrs. Merrill Brimhall and baby daughter of Arizona, and Mrs. Kent Gneitting and small daughter daugh-ter of Lewiston, Idaho are visiting visit-ing with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Hullinger. Lester Bartlett, of Tride'll, was working in the vicinity of Alterra, installing storm doors. Thursday. Mrs. Lola Christensen of Vernal spent some time in the school kitchen at Alterra on Wednesday. Special Valentine parties were held in each room at Alterra on Tuesday. Elaine Pappas, who had a birthday that day, had brought a cake to treat all those in her room, which is taught by Mrs, Theron Leavitt. Mr. and Mrs. Don Neilson and family left Thursday for Washington, Washing-ton, where Mr, Neilson will be employed. Miss Fern Cauldell was a past weekend euest of Miss Larane Kettle at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Elton Kettle. Mrs. Leland Angus took care of the children of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Har-old Timothy, who made a trip to Salt Lake City last week. Mr. and Mrs. George Bracken received a long distance telephone call from Mr. and Mrs. W, P. Marshall and two daughters from lone, Calif., Tuesday evening, Feb. 14. The occasion being Mrs. Bracken's Brack-en's birthday. Mrs. Russel Todd of Randlett assisted in helping quilt on Tuesday Tues-day at Relief Society. Mrs. Ted York reurned home Saturday from Stillwell, Okla., , where she had been to attend her . daughter's wedding. |
