Show Mt. Emmons Ward Gold-Green Ball Held Friday "Ilhe Mt.' Emmons ward Gold and Green Ball was a huge success. suc-cess. Trees, an Indian Teepee, and a horn of plenty made the theme, "Indian Love Call," very effective. A special floor snow was presented. Eleven couples participated in the couples dances and fourteen girls completed .the aM-girl number. num-ber. This was a special number num-ber originated by Kenneth Bearden.- White dresses with fitted sleeves, circle skirts and topped off with fringe were worn by the girls. Under the effect of blue spot lights and the enchanting violin music of Mrs. Helen Pgilm, the girls did a modern interpretation to "Indian. "In-dian. Love ("Mil " tvtv,, i7 j m, jLim ri a r t m a n accompanied Mrs . Palm on the piano. Special I stake visitors were Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Goodrich, Mrs Arthur Snow, Mr. and Mrs. La-Von La-Von Atwood, Mr. and Mrs. Max Hantaan, Mr. and Mrs Anthon Rust, Mr. and Mrs. William N. Brotherson and U. B. Winkler. Pie, ice cream and punch were sold. Special visitors in town for the wedding of Miss Lois Sadler Sad-ler and Barton Bennion were Mr. and Mrs. R. E. Mower and family, and Mr. and Mrs. Hector Hec-tor Sadler and family and Miss Beverly Perry, of Payson; Mr. and Mrs. Lowell Bennion and family. Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Crosby and daughter, of Salt Lake; Mrs. Nina Hansen, Mr. and Mrs Lee Hansen and family, fam-ily, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Thompson and Miss LaVern Thompson, from Salt Lake. |
