Show Worker Honored The Primary officers and teachers met at the home of Pres. Elsie Bird, Saturday to have a party for Mrs. Norma Hansen, one of their teachers who has moved to'. Mt. Emmons. Em-mons. The afternoon was spent .painting quilt blocks for a baby quilt to ibe presented to Mrs. Hansen for the good work she did in the Primary. Mrs. Marvin G. Shields was taken to Roosevelt, Thursday, where she received medical treatment for a broken rib and burns she received by laying on the hot pad. Mrs. Shirley Bird and family fam-ily were dinner guests Sunday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Bird. Pres. and Mrs. Hale Holgate attended the (banquet at Tab-iona Tab-iona Saturday evening. Mrs. LaRue Bell and son, Teddy, of Salt Lake City, were visiting old friends here Sat Mrs. Gladys Jensen, Mrs. Merle Ross. Mrs. Vera Larsen, Mrs. Ida Horrocks, Mrs. Betty Evans and Mrs. Ora Holgate attended the Farmerette Club at Bridgeland, Wednesday. Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Ross attended funeral services for Mrs. Ross' sister's grandson, Louis Crosby, at Garfield, on Tuesday. He was killed in a car accident near Saltair. Those who attended Relief Society convention at Duchesne Sunday were Gladys Ross, Cel-ia Cel-ia Gilbert, Gladys Capson Ora Holgate and Betty Evans. Bishop Gam Gilbert, Chad Evans, Scott Lusty, Charlie Bird, Thomas M. Gilbert. Stanley Stan-ley Ross, John Gilbert, Marvin G. Shields, James Larsen and Leon Ross attended priesthood meeting in Duchesne, Sunday. |
