Show Scouts On Hike The past weekend holds happy hap-py memories for the - Second Class Boy Scouts and members of the Guide Patrol. The Scouts, under the leadership of Merrill Dustin, hiked to Red Hill, Friday afternoon and spent the night there. Enjoying the campfdre cooking were Gordon Gor-don Peterson. Errol Whiting, Gary Rhoades, Larry LaRose, Allan Wiardle, Billy Dye, Gerald Ger-ald Dye. Accompanying the boys of the Guide Patrol were Ferrell Crozier, Orlo Spencer and Gerald Ger-ald Henrie. The objective of the group was a five-mile hike and outdoor cooking of a meal. This was accomplished by Terry Ter-ry Bastian, Kelly Crozier, Myron My-ron Duncan, Stephen Malnar, Cloyd Davis, Dennis Yack, Gary Brown. Lauren Wardle, David Duncan, Gary LaRose, Roland Starr, Deloy Dye and Glen Spencer. Mr. and Mrs. James Rhodes left last Thursday for Tucson, Arizona, where they will spend the winter. Harvey Higgle left last Wednesday Wed-nesday for Santa Ana, Calif, to visit with 'his 'grandmother. From there they will go to Tulsa, Tul-sa, Okla. for a few days. Mr. Riggle was accompanied by his brother-in-law, Willis Stevens, of Willow Creek. Mr. and Mrs. Lester Gardner are counting a new DeSoto among their , many blessings this Thanksgiving. It was purchased pur-chased from the Crurnibo Motor Mo-tor Co', of Roosevelt last week. Leland Peterson, Theron Horrocks Hor-rocks and Lester Gardner motored mo-tored to Duchesne last Wednesday, Wednes-day, where they were sworn in as jury men for the present court calendar. Ronald Duncan and Keith Bastian made a business trip to Provo last week. |
