Show Roosevelt Stake Is 'Stake Of Month' In LDS Era Orive Honor came to' the Roosevelt Stake M.I.A during the month of November when they were declared the "Stake Of The Month" due to their outstanding outstand-ing record in the recent Improvement Im-provement Era campaign. Each mlonth the Improvement Era Digest nominates one stake and one mission in the church for spediial recognition, and the November issue of the Digest nominated Roosevelt as the stake and the North-Central mission for this honor. The fofliowing brief item of praise was printed at the top of Page One of the Era Digest: "Roosevelt stake conducting a traditionally fine campaign is nominated stake of the month: They sent in enough subscriptions in one lump sum to exceed their Cash Award Minimum. This has been the largest number of subscriptions received from any church unit this year. Hats off to Roosevelt." Roose-velt." Oneida stake also rated 106 with Taylor stake in third place with 100. These three stakes are listed on the Scroll of Honor Roll. Roosevelt had the third largest total number of subscriptions sub-scriptions in the church, with 452 South Idaho Fall had 540 and University had 458, to lead Roosevelt in this category |
