Total Allotted Acreage 4,484.63 Each unit is offered for sep- arate lease, for a cash bonus ini addition to the stipulated royalties royal-ties and rental of $1.25 per annum. The successful and responsible res-ponsible bidders for any lease will be required to pay in advance ad-vance an annual rental of $1.25 per acre, the cost of advertising and filing fee of $5.00 for each lease contract consumated. In! addition to the filing fee of, $5.00 for each lease, a fee of 15c 1 per acre will be charged as a processing cost of making the lease and clerical service attendant attend-ant thereto. Successful bidders will be required to deposit such fees in proportion to the acreage obtained through their bids and before leases are drawn. A deposit de-posit of 20 per cent of the bonus bid and 20 per cent of the advance rental for the first year must accompany the bid and be in the form of a certified check or bank draft drawn on a solvent sol-vent bank, payable to the Treasurer Treas-urer of the United States. Conditional or alternate bids will not be accepted and no drilling propositions will be considered con-sidered as a part of the bonus offer. The sale will be conducted under regulations promulagted by the Secretary of the Interior, 25 CFR 186, Act of May 11, 1938 (52 Stat. 347, 25 U.S.C. 396 a-j), as to Tribal lands and 25 CFR 189, Act of March 3, 1909 (35 Stat. 781-783, 25 U.S.C. 396), as to Alloted lands. Lease Form 5-154h will be used for the Allotted leases and Form 5-157 will be used for the Tribal Bids received on Tribal lands will be referred to the Uintah and Ouray Tribal Business Committee Com-mittee for their recommendation as to acceptance or rejection before such bids are referred to the Commissioner of Indian Affairs, for final action. The Allotted lands are offered subject sub-ject to the execution of the lease by the adult individual Indian owners. The right is re- served by the Commissioner to reject any or all bids and to disapprove any lease made on an accepted bid. Should any bid be rejected after a deposit is made, through no fault of the bidder, all moneys deposited shall be returned. Failure of the successful bidder bid-der to comply with the terms of the sale and the regulations, will render his deposit liable to forfeiture in the discretion of the Commissioner 6f Indian Affiars. Leases on Tribal lands filed after 20 days from date of mailing to lessee for execution will be subject to revaluation of bonus, and sales may be cancelled can-celled and deposits forfeited at the expiration of the 20 days unless for good and sufficient reason an extension of the filing period is granted. The successful success-ful bidder on the Alloted lands will be required to secure the signatures of all Indian owners. The lease must be completed and returned together with all all supporting papers and the remaining sums due and owing, within 30 days from date of mailing to lessee for execution. An additional period of time will be granted for good and sufficient reason upon request made prior to the expiration of the original 30-day period. .The Superintendent reserves the right, as a condition precedent to the granting of any extended period of time for filing a lease, torequire the deposit of any remaining sums due and owing on the lease, including the balance bal-ance of the bonus bid and the first year's rental. The lessee must furnish a satisfactory sat-isfactory surety bond as required requir-ed by regulations.
