Show ikssptbsi For Newlyweds IkM lii Biuebeil : One of the loveliest of the late summer weddings was solemnized sol-emnized Sept. 17 in the -Logan LDS Temple when Miss Maxine Winkler, daughter of Mr. and ; Mrs. U. B. Winkler, of Blue- '. bell, became the bride of Howard How-ard G. Todd, son of Mr. and : Mrs. Russel Todd, of Ballard. Saturday evening, Sept. 19, the? newlyweds greeted friends and relatives at a reception at the Bluebell ward hall. The bride was radiant in a ballerina length gown of lace and nylon - tulle over taffeta, styled with Peter Pan collar, short sleeves and matching lace . stole. Her veil of bride's illusion fell from a crown of rhinestones and pearls and , she carried a bouquet of chrysanthamums. Bridesmaids, Joanne Todd, Pauline Winkler and Shauna Lee Vinkier, wore identical ballerina bal-lerina length dresses of rose, gold and lavender, respectively. Miss Beth Winkler was maid of honor to her sister and wore a ballerina length gown of aqua. Best man duties . were performed per-formed by Floren Preece, of Logan. A fall theme prevailed in the decorations which featured arrangements ar-rangements of fall flowers. A beautiful three tiered wedding cake with orange frosting, gold trim and gold leaves and topped top-ped ' with a miniature bride and groom formed ths table centerpiece in the serving room. Serving was under the direction direc-tion of Selma Cook, Winona Wonacott and Wilma Morrell. Lois Hacking and Leda Hul-linger Hul-linger had charge of the gifts. Arthur Merrell acted as master mas-ter of ceremonies for the following fol-lowing program which was presented pre-sented during the evening: Cecil Ce-cil Wall, song; Loren Dastrup and Veretta Gomm, vocal duet; Dannie Gelago, uke solo; Dale Cummings, song; Sheril Merrell, song; Keith Winkler, song. The new Mr. and Mrs. Todd will make their home in Logan, where Mr. Todd will continue his studies at the USAC and Mrs. Todd will be employed-in a bank at Logan. |
