Show Personal Shower Honors New Bride (Ommitted Last Week) Honoring Miss Chell Gardner, a personal shower was held at the home of Mrs. Mark Ober-hansley, Ober-hansley, Tuesday evening of last week. The time was spent in making a bride-book and in appropriate games. Musical numbers were given by Joanne Todd and Carol Gardner. A lace cloth covered the gift table, which was decorated with a miniature bride and white tapers. tap-ers. The living and dining rooms were decorated with late summer flowers. Light refreshments refresh-ments were served to the following fol-lowing friends and relatives of the bride-to-be": Zella Gardner, Laura Gardner, Francis Bowen, Hattie Jensen, Carol Gardner, Lecta Horrocks, Phyllis Eskiind, Marilyn Peterson, Jenette Smithson, Ann Peterson, Joanne Todd, Fanny Todd, Norma Johnson, John-son, LaVon Dye, Leah Allred and Sherene Henrie. Guests at the Ferris Henrie home last Sunday included Mr. and Mrs. Matt Zager and son, Clyde, of Murray; Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Zager and small daughter, daugh-ter, of Denver, Colo.; and Gerald Ger-ald Henrie, who is attending school at the U.S.A. C. Mr. and Mrs. Richens, of My-ton, My-ton, spent Sunday at the home of her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Whitmore. Their baby daughter was blessed by her grandfather in Fast meeting that day. Mrs. Beryl Root, of Salt Lake City, visited with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Orin Gardner, over the weekend. Sunday afternoon, after-noon, the trio attended the christening of the great-grandson of the Gardners at Roosevelt, Roose-velt, where the new son of Mr. and Mrs. Kent Nelson, of Salt Lake City, received the name of Kent Paul. John B. Gale was sustained as activity director in the MIA, and Florence Cloward as a teacher in Primary, in meeting last Sunday. |
