Show j Clyde Etheredge, of LaBaca, Alabama, is visiting at the home J of his son, Willard Etheredge. Mr. and Mrs. Anthon B. : Chfistensen and Mrs. Donald Laris left Sunday for a 4-day trip to Boise, Idaho, where they will attend the Western States March of Dimes convention. Mr. Christensen is Duchesne County March of Dimes chairman chair-man and Mrs. Laris was recently re-cently named City Chairman for. the campaign. Mr. and Mrs. Clarence W. Hartman, of Ogden, arrived Tuesday to spend a short visit with her sister, and brother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Howard Harrison Har-rison and family. Mr. and Mrs. S. V. Ellison and two children spent the weekend with Mrs. Ellison's mother, Mrs. Ellen Dean, and son, Harry. Special purpose for the visit was to wish Mrs. Dean best wishes on her birthday anniversary. an-niversary. Mr. and Mrs. J. K. Arnold and children also visited Mrs. Dean during the weekend. John S. Redmond returned Sunday from Elwood, Indiana, where he has been visiting his brother, Dan Redmond and family- . Mr. and Mrs. C. J. Preece, of Stewart, Nevada, were overnight over-night guests of his brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Wm. R. Preece. The C. J. Preeces were enroute to Boston to visit their son, Dr. Howard Preece. Mrs. Alex Crystal, of Yellowstone. Yellow-stone. Mr. and Mrs. W. R. Harris, Har-ris, of Myton, were also guests of the Wm. Preeces during the week. Miss Opal Timothy, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Earl Timothy, is home, after spending the summer sum-mer months working at Mack's Inn, Idaho. Darrell Walker, who is employed em-ployed at Castle Gate, Utah, spent the weekend with his family. Mr. and Mrs. George Buchanan Buchan-an have been visiting in Ogden during the past two weeks. Mr. and Mrs. Dwain Buchanan Buchan-an were called to Salt Lake City, Saturday, due to the death of her brother. As the Buchanans Buchan-ans were leaving town, they were hit by another auto, and had to return for another car before resuming their trip. Mrs,, Buchanan will remain in Salt-Lake Salt-Lake for two weeks to be with her mother. Bill McLea left Wednesday for Logan, where he will enroll as a freshman at the USAC. Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Labrum and Mr. and Mrs. LaVere Lab-rum Lab-rum were visitors in Salt Lake City during the week. When they arrived there on Monday they discovered that the Mark Bellons had been in an automobile accident Sunday. Mrs. Bellon suffered a broken collar bone and minor cuts and bruises. Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Eldredge, accompanied by Mrs. Marvell Nielson, Miss Bette Eldredge, Miss DeAnne Asay and Miss Cleo Holgate, drove to Moab last Friday to' attend the football foot-ball game. ' ' Mr. and Mrs. Bill Edwards and Johnnie Cook left Tuesday for Bingham, where they wiir visit relatives and witness the World Series on television. Mrs. Marvell Nielson is spending spend-ing the week in Salt Lake City, planning to watch the World Series on television. Steve Bellon is another sports enthusiast left this week for Salt Lake to also take in the Series on television. Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Bertoch and children, Julie and Bradley, of Salt Lake City, spent the weekend visiting at the home of Mr. Bertoch's sister, Mrs. I Earl Dillman and family. Mrs. J. O. Orser was a Salt 1 Lake City visitor last weekend. |
