The Sun Shine Club met at the home of Mrs. Annie War-burton War-burton on Thursday and quilted a lovely silk quilt for her in compliment of her birthday. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Jenkins, or. and son, Jack, and daughter, daugh-ter, Mrs. Reva Workman, were visitors in Salt Lake City the past week. Mrs Jenkins was operated on Friday morning at the L.D.S. , Hospital. Mr. and Mrs. Dave Jenkins, Mrs. Merl Horrocks, Jack Jenkins and Mrs. Pearlie Pree'ce, of Craig Colo., left Thursday morning to be at her bedside. Mr. and Mrs. Golden Winn and Mrs. Mae Sprouse and Carolyn Caro-lyn Caldwell were visitors in Salt Lake City on Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. Chuck Taylor and daughter, Myrna, were in Salt Lake' City during the week. Myrna stayed to enter school at the University of Utah there. Mr. and Mrs. James Marshall, of Fontana, Calif., visited her sister. Ethel Taylor and friends here during the week. They also attended the shower for Mr. and Mrs. Kent Taylor, held at the Lapoint chapel. The Marshalls vere former residents of Lapoint. La-point. Mr. and Mrs. George Bigelow and Kenneth Hartle and family fam-ily visited in. Salt Lake City on Saturday and attended the "Ice Follies," and State Fair. Mrs. E. C. Hair, of Salt Lake City and Mrs. Ivan Perry and sons, Kenneth and Glade, - also Mrs. Elmer Bell, of Provo were visitors at the home of George Bi?elow during the week. Mr. and Mrs. Seth Lee and son, Dorian, of Ogden, visited his mother, Mrs. Rhoda Lee, and other relatives over the weekend. |
