Show VARIETY CLUB MEETS The Mt. Emmons Variety Club met on Sept. 28 at the home of Mrs. David Gailey. The hostess served a salad luncheon to the following members: Mrs. Max Hartman, Mrs. Johnny Lambert, Mrs. Ned Mitchell, Mrs. Hershel Io'rg, Mrs. LaVear Timothy, Mrs. Kenneth Bear-don. Bear-don. Mrs. Grant Hansen and Mrs. Ken LaRose. Keith Duke and Curtis Das-trup Das-trup were home for the weekend week-end from the BYU. Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Bear-don Bear-don and family and Mr. and Mrs. David Gailey and family had a picnic at the rodeo grounds in Altamont last Sunday Sun-day afternoon. Clarence Young spent last weekend in Bridgeland at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Alma Smith, where his wife and two children are staying for a few weeks. . Mr. and Mrs. Orson Monson were in Salt Lake City last week. Mr. and Mrs. Alton Thacker were visiting their folks last weekend. Mr. Thacker is working work-ing in Coalville. Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Hartman were in Provo last Sunday and Monday. Mrs. Waldo Hansen went to Eureka, Calif, to see her father and other relatives. She went with her sister and brother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Howard I Montes. They left Sept. 25. Mr. and Mrs. Johnny Lambert Lam-bert and family went for a day's outing on Wolf Creek Pass last Sunday. They were accompanied by Mrs. Mytrle Lambert and Mr. and Mrs. Keith Lambert and family. Mr. and Mrs. Ken LaRose attended a house-warming for Mr. and Mrs. Fred LaRose, of Neola, last Friday night. Evan Hansen was in Salt Lake City from Thursday to Saturday of last week on business busi-ness and to visit his folks. Mr. and Mrs. Ned Mitchell had their new baby daughter blessed last Sunday. Grant Hansen Han-sen officiated and the baby was named Twana Kay Mitchell. F. Earl Case blessed the new daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Hardy Perkins, and she was named Marcia Jean Perkins. Mr. and Mrs. Elwood Foote and family visited, with their folks in Provo last weekend. Mr. and Mrs. Max Hartman were in Salt Lake City and Provo' last Wednesday on business. busi-ness. Mr. and Mrs. Dale Crozier and son, of Neola, visited with Mr. and Mrs. Ed Crosby and other members of their family last Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Swasey, of Salt Lake City, visited over last Saturday and Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Volney Boswell and family. Mr. and Mrs. Floid Hartman and family and Mr. and Mrs. Max Hartman and family went on an outing last Sunday to picnic and pick bullberries. Johnny Lambert was in Salt Lake City last Friday and Saturday Sat-urday on business. Mr. and Mrs. Bill Reay andj family, of Whiterocks, were Sunday guests of Mr. and Mrs. Fay Reay. Mrs. Mary Marshall, of Salt Lake City, spent Saturday and Sunday with her daughter and son-ih-law, Mr. and Mrs. Fay Reay. Mr. and Mrs. Max Clark moved to Tremonton, Utah last Saturday. They have been in Vernal since they moved from Mt. Emmons. Mr. and Mrs. John Carlile, of Woodland, brought Mrs. Alma Al-ma Carlile out to' visit with Mrs. Aleen Case on the Sept. 19 weekend, and Mrs. Aleen Case took her home last weekend. week-end. Mrs. Alma Carlile is Mrs. Case's mother. Mrs. Lynn Hansen spent Monday Mon-day morning with Mrs. Johnny Lambert. ' Mr. and Mrs. Kelly Sprouse and girls, of Roosevelt, visited Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Case. |
