The newlyweds greeted friends and relatives at a re ceplion at the Duchesne stake hall last Saturday evening. , Church Reception Honors The Ronald LicldeEis BRIDGELAND (Special) Taking her place among the autumn brides was Miss Carol Taylor, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Roy Taylor, of Bridge-land, Bridge-land, when she recited wedding vows with Ronald Liddell, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jack Liddell in a ceremony performed Sept. 14 in the Salt Lake L.D.S. Temple. Saturday evening, Sept. 26, the newlyweds greeted their many friends and relative's at a reception at the Duchesne stake house. The lovely bride greeted her guests in a floor length gown of satin styled with a fitted bodice, bod-ice, and an overskirt of lace. Her lace-trimmed veil of brides illusion fell from a tiara of seed pearls and tiny flowers and she wore' a corsage of a single orchid. or-chid. The bride's mother chose a dress of wine crepe, while the mother of the groom wore a dress of navy crepe. Both wore corsages of white carnations and gladiolus. Mrs. Viola Shepherd, Mrs. Christiana Fitzgerald, Miss Ruth Walters and Miss Shirley Meyer were in charge of the gifts. Center of attraction on the gift table was a beautiful four-tiered four-tiered wedding cake, which was baked by Mrs. Hazel Walters, a close family friend, and artistically artis-tically decorated by the bride's sister, Mrs. Al Cundriff. Serving was under the direction di-rection of Mrs. Helen Neilsen and Mrs. Alice Beal. A program was presented during the evening with LaMar Neilsen acting as master oi ceremonies and featured songs by Dana Dee Adams, of Duchesne, Du-chesne, and Miss LuDean Anderson, An-derson, of Myton, and a reading read-ing by Mrs. Walter Meyer. Out-of-town guests attending the reception were Mr. and Mrs. Charles Bigelow, Mr. and Mrs. Rex Taylor, and Mrs.' Mae Sprouse, of Lapoint; Mr. and Mrs. Ray Houston, of Bennett; Mr. and Mrs. Al Peterson, of Salt Lake City, and Howard Taylor, of Texas. |
