Show BIRTHDAY PARTY Mr. and Mrs. David Jenkins were hosts at a birthday dinner July 8 in honor of their daughter, Alice. Those present were Mrs. Annie Davis, Mrs. Rose Walker, Mrs. Nettie Jensen from Roosevelt; Roose-velt; Mr. and Mrs. Frank Jenkins and Edwin D. from Spanish Fork. During the afternoon the group were entertained with a musical program by Mrs. Annie Davis and Mrs. Merl Jenkins SACRAMENT MEETING The, Indian missionaries, Owen Bartlett and Jim Harvey from Tridell gave the program at Sacrament Sacra-ment meeting, July 8. Cloyd Kump and Dawn Huber sang a duet. Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Labrum of Pasadena, California are guests of Mr. Pearl Labrum and family. Mrs. Gene Thriffer and children from Roosevelt were visitors at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. O. W Justice. Mr. and Mrs. Ted Potter from Greenriver, Wyoming were visitors visit-ors of Mr. and Mrs. Milton Wooley recently. Mr. and Mrs. Milton Wooley are happy to report the birth of a grand daughter born to Mr) and Mrs. Clyde McCurdy of Salt Lake. The new Miss arrived July 7. Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Young from Oakland, Calif, are spending spend-ing their vacation here as guests of Mrs. Youngs parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Daniels. Mr. and Mrs. Sike Thompson and son, Sam and Ricky Adams of Roosevelt and Mrs. Dorothy Thompson spent the 4th of July at Meeker, Colo. They also visited Mr., and Mrs. Sherman Taylor and family. Mrs. Sarah Norton returned home from Salt Lake Monday after visiting with her children and relatives. Mrs. Alice Angus from Salt Lake is visiting her son, Mr. and Mrs; Floyd Angus and family. Mr. and Mrs. Donnal Ras-mussen Ras-mussen and children from Salt Lake and Mr. and Mrs., Acel Has-lem Has-lem and children from Orem spent the 4th of July with their mother, Mrs. Mammie Rasmussen. Boyd Winn has gone to Rock Springs, Wyoming where he has employment in the oil field. The Lapoint Gilrs baseball, team played Ashley girls baseball team Monday evening in Vernal. The score was Lapoint 14 Ashley 8. Elroy Norton and son from American Fork visited his mothter, Mrs. Sarah Norton during the week.
