Show Drunken Driving Case Goes Back To Justice Court A drunken driving case has been remanded to the justice court of the Duchesne Precinct by the district court. This case was brought in the district court before Judge Joseph E. Nelson. Upon motion of Ray E. Nash, assistant district attorney, the trial setting was vacated by the court, and upon motion of George E. Stewart, attorney for defendant, defend-ant, the i appeal was dismissed by the district court. The defendant was found guilty as charged in the precinct court before Judge George H. Wilcken on December 2, 1955. On December Decem-ber 5, 1955, the justice court sentence entered against defendant defend-ant was 30 days in the city and county jail, $100 fine, with the jail, sentence to be suspended if fine is paid within 30 days. Arraignment was held in the justice court, on complaint signed by Harold Thomas, Duchesne City Marshall, charging defendant with crime of drunken driving on the I night of November 20, 1955. |
