The Mutual held a social on Tuesday evening to elect a Rodeo s Queen and attendant. Velsa Pickup Pick-up was chosen Queen, with Diane i Taylor and Shirley Pickup as her attendants. Square dancing and games were " I enjoyed by the group under the direction of Mrs. Leah Chandler. I The Sunday School Sperintend- ency met Thursday evening at I the home of Jess Jensen. I Stake Primary teacher trainer, Georgia Anderson of Ballard, attended at-tended Primary here Tuesday. I Miss Peggy Wardle is visiting in Whitercoks at the home of her brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and I Mrs. Lee Wardle. Miss Diane Taylor spent the first part of the week visiting in Vernal at the home of her grandmother, Mrs. Josephine Taylor. Tay-lor. Visitors at the Bishop Stoddard Stod-dard home during the week were Mr. and Mrs. Ellis Melton and i; daughter and Mrs.. Evona BakeT ; and son of Salt Lake City. Mrs. Afton Rogers and daugh-i daugh-i i ters, Denise and Judy, accomp-V accomp-V anied the Van and Lynn Jensen families home to Salt Lake City 1 where they visited them and Mr. and' Mrs. George Jensen and family, Mr. and Mrs. Virgil Jensen and family, and the Norman Nor-man Rogers family. Her husband, Ivan Rogers, brougt her home Friday evening. Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence CWall went to Manilla Wednesday to visit relatives there. Mr. and Mrs. Leo Jorgensen and family and Larry Dudley moved from the community Tuesday. Tues-day. Mr. and Mrs. Bill Young of Vernal spent Sunday visiting at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ward Jarman- Harold Dudley and son, Ronald, Ron-ald, Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Dag-ley Dag-ley and scms, Keith and Curtis, are enjoying a fishing trip in the High Uintas. Mrs. Nanna Jarman was home for a few days, but had to go back to the hospital Friday. Mr. and Mrs. Albert Harris took their small son, Dale, to Salt Lake City to receive medical medi-cal care. Mrs. Harris and Dale stayed during the week and Mr. Harris went out Sunday to bring them home.. Orvene Cooper and Orson Nielson Niel-son of Vernal spent the week working on their farms here. Clayton Slaugh of Vernal spent the week here caring for his farm. j |
