Show .Farming Program On Radio To Hear S.L.C. Man A new strawberry developed by a Salt Lake County man will be discussed Monday, June 14, on KSL Radio's "This Business of Farming" broadcast. The broadcast, sponsored by Utah Copper Division, Kennecott Copper Cop-per Corporation, is heard each weekday at 12:15 p.m. During the Monday broadcast ElVon Orme, KSL Radio farm director, will interview T. Kas- uga, who received a U. S. patent pat-ent for his new berry last March. Also' appearing on the broadcast is Dr. Arvil Stark, agricultural and research director direc-tor for a Salt Lake City chemical chem-ical firm. I On the Thursday, June 17 broadcast, Chairman Alden K. Barton, of the Utah Agricultural Agricul-tural Commission, will discuss with livestock men the new Bang's disease control law going go-ing into' effect July 1 in Utah. During the Friday, June 18 broadcast, problems of marketing market-ing and handling poultry products pro-ducts from the coop to the marketing mar-keting association will be considered con-sidered by experts from Draper Poultrymen, Inc. |
