Show Mrs. Elsie Bird Attend Party Those who attended the high priests' and seventies party at Duchesne, Friday night, were: Mr. and Mrs. Hale Holgate, Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Bird, Mr. and Mrs. Marion Ross, Mr. and Mrs. Marvin G. Shields, Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Hansen, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas M. Gilbert, Mr. and Mrs. Chad Evans, and Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Ross. Naomi Gilbert and Pauline Larsen returned home from school at the B.Y.U. Leon Ross and Gwen Bodily returned home Thursday after spending a few days in Moses Lake, Washington. Mrs. Charlie Bird and Mildred visited Thursday at the home of Mrs. Clair Duncan in Neola. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Jensen are driving a new Lincoln. Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Bird received re-ceived word of a new granddaughter, grand-daughter, born to Mr. and Mrs. Leland O. Bird, in San Diego, Calif. The little Miss weighed in at 4 lbs. 5 oz. and will be known as Cynthia Lee. All concerned con-cerned are doing nicely. Mr. and Mrs. Warden Olsen and son, Kim, returned home after spending a few days visiting vis-iting in Neola at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Cliff Olsen. Mr. and Mrs. Horace Chatwin moved to Salt Lake, where they will make their .home. Mr. and Mrs. Hale Holgate. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Holgate, Mrs. Vera Larsen went to Grantsville Saturday to attend funeral services for their cousin. cou-sin. Surprise Party ' A group of friends met at the home of Mrs. Lois Terpening and surprised her on her birthday, birth-day, Friday, June 4. Present were Mr. and Mrs. Verl Roper, of Upalco; Mr. and Mrs. Scott Lusty, Mr. and Mrs. Grant Peel, Mr. and Mrs. LeGrand Gilbert, Mrs. Gladys Bell, Marsha Lusty, Lus-ty, Clark Lusty and the honored guest. The evening was spent playing games and refreshments were served. Mrs. Morie Roper and Bessie Lusty were hostesses. Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Fairbanks and Dr. and Mrs. Fairbanks, of Salt Lake City, visited at their ranch with Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Hansen. Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Young and children, of Mt. Emmons, Em-mons, visited Sunday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Hansen. Sue Labrum visited a few days at the home of her grandparents, grand-parents, Mr. and Mrs. Marion Ross. The Sunday School gave a very interesting program Sunday Sun-day night. Mr. and Mrs. Thomas M. Gilbert Gil-bert received word that their son. Jack, was out of the Seattle Seat-tle hospital and getting along as well as can be expected. He is at his home in Moses Lake, Washington. They have also received re-ceived word that their son, Gayle, who is serving a mission mis-sion in San Anna, Calif., had his first experienc and thrill of baptizing and confirming two families. |
