Show Home Wedding Unites Couple TABIONA (Special) An interesting in-teresting event of the past week was the wedding Friday evening eve-ning of Miss Alta Jones, daughter daugh-ter of Hershel Jones, Salt Lake City, and William H. Clark, son of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Clark, of Altonah, with Bishop Burnell Turnbow, Tabiona ward officiating-. The ceremony was held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Webb, Tabiona, with approximately 75 close friends and relatives attending. The bride was lovely in a ballerina length bridal gown of nylon and lace, with finger-tip veil and bridal corsage. Her bridesmaids were Miss" Reva Clark, a sister of the groom, and Miss. Nelda Jones, her sister, who each wore pastel ballerina length gowns and corsages. cor-sages. The best man was Trent Clark, Altonah, a brother of the groom. The new bride is a graduate of Tabiona High School and the groom is a graduate of the Al-tamont Al-tamont High School. He is a veteran vet-eran of World Wor II. The new Mrs. Clark will be honored at a bridal shower in Altonah Friday afternoon, June 11, and a bridal shower in her honor will be held in Tabiona, Saturday afternoon, June 12.. The young couple will also' be feted at a wedding dance in Defa's Dance Hall, Hanna, Saturday Sat-urday evening, June 12, with everyone invited to attend. The young couple will make their home in Salt Lake City, where both Alta and Bill are employed. |
