Show MIA Social An MIA social was held at Victory Park on Tuesday evening, eve-ning, June 1st. Family groups took their own lunch and the evening was spent in roller skating. Perry Bingham, who has been attending school at the USAC at Logan he past year, is home with his mother, Mrs. Von Haslem Has-lem at present. Gary Gardner has also returned home from the BYU, Miss Patsy Gines and Miss Carolyn Ross are both employed employ-ed at the Huish Drug Store. Mr. and Mrs. Jake Smith are the proud parents of a baby boy, born to them at the Roosevelt Roose-velt Hospital. Mrs. Davis Lundberg Lund-berg is caring for the other children of the Smiths during the mother's absence. Mrs. Ray Westwood and 3 sons, of Rangely, Colo., spent last weekend at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. John H. Cook. Mrs. Farrell Mohlman and family, of Bountiful, are visiting visit-ing with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Russel Todd. Mr. Swain, of Vernal, is calling call-ing now twice a week to teach "Tex''' the small son of Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Ross and Dennis Kettle, son of Mr. and Mrs. Elton El-ton Kettle for six or seven weeks. A. A. Call was at the two homes this past week. Mr. and Mrs. Loyal Bellon and family, of Roy, were last weekend visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Xavier Bellon. Their son, Don, remained as a guest of Drew for a while. Mr. and Mrs. Frank McClure expect to move into the home just vacated by Mr. and Mrs. Dean Frandsen. Paul Clark, of Salt Lake City, son of Mr. ond Mrs. L. E. Clark, is visiting at the David Lundberg Lund-berg home. Ensign Clark was visiting Sunday in Ballard. Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Long and family have moved from Ballard. |
