Show I LONG RIVER 1 Outside of the Missouri-Mississippi river system, the Rio Grande (about 1800 miles) is j the longest river in the U. Those present besides be-sides Grant and David, were: Shirley Mecham, Coralee Max-field, Max-field, Janice Allred, Cleo Clark, Colleen Roberts, Ronald Powell, Pow-ell, Walker Reese, Verdus Miles, George Chapman and Paul Hislop. His-lop. Mr. and Mrs. Glen Mohlman Mohl-man and Mr. and Mrs. Martin Hislop accompanied the group to the dance. Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Crapo and son, of Elko, Nevada were recent weekend guests of Mr. and Mrs. Johnny Lambert. The two families camped overnight in the Uintas during the visit. Mr. and Mrs. Denzil Lister ond daughter, of Heber, visited relatives in Mt. Emmons over the Memorial Day weekend. Mrs. Doyle Swallow and her brother, John Titcomb, have been visiting with Mr. and Mrs. Neal Titcomb. They cared for their place last weekend when Mr. and Mrs. Titcomb went to' Springville to attend the wedding wed-ding of friends of Mrs. Titcomb. Grant Hansen and Volney Boswell were in Salt Lake and Ogden several days last week on business. Mrs. Moyle Parker and baby daughter, of American Fork, and Mrs. Darwin Mitchell, of Fremont, Utah, spent the weekend week-end with Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Case. Peggy Ann, who had been in American Fork for a week with her sister, returned to her home with them. Mr. and Mrs. LaFarge Das-trup Das-trup and Mrs. Des Moines Anderson An-derson went to Ephraim last Wednesday and Thursday. Gail Stout, a nephew of the Das-trups, Das-trups, came home with them to' spend a week. Mrs. Cliff Lisonbee and daughter visited Monday with Mrs. George Rogers. Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Denver, Jr. and family, of Fort Duchesne, Du-chesne, and Sherri Hartman visited vis-ited Sunday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Sonny Denver. Mr. and Mrs. Ed Crosby went to Neola last Sunday, where they visited their daughter, Mrs. Dale Crozier and her family. Two families from Texas have moved into the Hansen Apartments in Altamont. They are Mr. and Mrs. Powell and their five children and Mr. and Mrs. Ray and one son. The men are oil workers. Mr. and Mrs. Hershel Iorg and Mr. and Mrs. Leon Dump attended the barbecue in Uinta Canyon last Saturday, as members mem-bers of the Roosevelt Commercial Commer-cial Club. Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Das-trup Das-trup and family went to Duchesne Du-chesne last Sunday to visit Mr. and Mrs. Donald Bench and family. Mr. and Mrs. Laren Beck-j Beck-j stead and family were Sunday afternoon guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. R. Evans j and Mrs. Anna L. Evans.
