Show MONTWELL By Beiiie Mower Reception Honors Young Couple A wedding dance and reception recep-tion were held Saturday evening eve-ning at the Montwel church for Mr. and Mrs. Glade Calder. They were married Friday, June 4th in the Salt Lake Temple. Reece Timothy's orchestra played play-ed and refreshments were served ser-ved to a large crowd. Members of the receiving line besides thet bride and groom, were Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Parry, Par-ry, parents of the bride; Mrs. Wallace Calder, mother of the groom; Mrs. Beth Brown, head receptionist. Best man was Mr. Calder's brother; Loene Powell, maid of honor; Merlene Parry and Beverly Calder bridesmaids. A short program was presented. Mr. and Mrs. Lee Blanchard and family, of Salt Lake City, visited friends and -relatives here this week. James Hamblin, Jr. took nine Scouts up to Pole Creek, Wednesday Wed-nesday to stay overnight. They were Bruce Parry, Dahl Powell, Duane Hamblin, Terry Larsen, Don Hunt, Terry Alexander, Neils Neilsen, Kent and Lonnie Bo'ren. Virlen Gagon is home from Sunset, Utah, where he has been staying. Mr. and Mrs. Don Lougee and daughter, Bonnie Kay, of Logan spent the weekend with Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Mower and family. Marilyn will stay here for two weeks while Don goes to a summer Forestry school. Donnetta Roberts of Pleasant Grove is visiting relatives here for a few weeks. t Miss Loene Powell spent the weekend at home with her parents. par-ents. Mrs. Mable Campbell of Pleasant Grove is visiting Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Parry. Mr. and Mrs. Ike Parry and daughter, Merlene, of Price visited vis-ited here with relatives and attended the reception. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Hul-linger Hul-linger and family of Pleasant Grove visited with relatives this weekend. Mr. and Mrs. Ray Brown took their son, Fred, to Camp Williams Friday morning to attend at-tend the National Guard Unit. Bettie Mower left Sunday for Salt Lake City to spend two weeks with her grandmother, Mrs. Phoebe C. Litster. Carl Mower celebrated his 7th birthday anniversary Sunday Sun-day with a group of friends. Games were played and refreshments refresh-ments were served. Mr. and Mrs. Ray Brown had 1 their baby daughter blessed at Fast meeting Sunday. She was named Helen Marie, and was blessed by Howard Crapo. Indians comprise about 11 per cent of Arizona's population. !
