Show (juAher Stella Underwood Water Doard Has Meeting July 11 On Wednesday night of last week a meeting was held at Albert Semken's home to discuss dis-cuss the water situation as it applies to the Uintah Irrigation Co. Board members were all in attendance, as were George Lawrence, Soil Conservation engineer en-gineer from Salt Lake, and Don Neilson, Soil Conservation engineer, en-gineer, from Roosevelt. Mr. and Mrs. C. W. .Bodily were pleasantly surprised on July 4 when their sons. Val and Garn, and their families, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Goodman and family, of Salt Lake City; and two of Mrs. Bodily's brothers, Melvln Jorgensen and family, of Moses Lake, Washington, and J. O. Jorgensen, of McGill, Nevada, Ne-vada, came to spend a few days with them. Mrs. Bodily had not seen her brother from Nevada for eight years. Mr. and Mrs. Carl Ross and baby visited Tuesday of last week with their parents, Mr and Mrs. Melvin Ross. - Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Roper made a business trip to Pocatello, Idaho Tuesday of last week, returning Thursday. Mrs. Roper's Rop-er's mother, Mrs. Robina Ferguson, Fer-guson, accompanied them as far as Heber, where she stopped to visit her son Leonard. ..who then took her to Salt Lake and on to Provo, where she visited vis-ited a son, William, and his family. Mrs. Donna Lewis, of Utahn, spent last week visiting with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Dave Clark. Mr. and Mrs. Christie Justice and family, of Los Angeles, visited vis-ited in Gusher last week. They are former Gusher residents. Mrs. Mary Eskelson is reported report-ed to be seriously ill at this writing. Mrs. Ruby Hallett and Mrs. Eph Eskelson are helping care for her. Mrs. Dave Clark and Mrs. Blanche McCarrell visited Saturday Sat-urday with Mrs. Clark's sister, Mrs. Afton Forakis. of Lapoint. on Saturday. |
