Show Carl Walker, Trib Carrier Gets Yellowstone Trip CarlWalker, son of Mr. and Mrs. Voyne Walker, Roosevelt, and three other Uintah Basin carrier-salesmen for the Salt Lake Tribune and Salt Lake Telegram left Saturday, July 14, for Salt Lake City, where they were joined by 22 other outstanding carrier-salesmen for a four-day tour of Yellowstone National Park, the Jackson Hole and Teton area. The youths were chosen to make the trip, with all expenses paid, on a basis of individual achievement during the past year. "Enroute home the group visited vis-ited the Grand Canyon of the Snake River. Fishing, swimming, horseback horse-back riding and sightseeing were in order for the young salesmen sales-men during their stay in the popular vacation area. L. L. Parry, circulation supervisor su-pervisor for the Salt Lake Tribune-Telegram and Brian O'Neal, O'-Neal, Duchesne and Uintah county coun-ty distributor, accompanied the youths on the vacation trip. |
