Show J. 6. Hooper is convalescing I nicely at home from broken ribs suffered in a fall from a hay I stack he was working on. The ward teachers owe the Relief Society teachers a chicken chick-en fry. So they will give it on July 24 in Uinta canyon, where the ward plans to celebrate. The chicken will be cooked Scout style in aluminum foil. Visiting with Mrs. William Avery Friday was the Rev. William Wil-liam Wolfe and Mrs. Clark from Vernal. We are happy to report that the Rev. Wolfe's health is much improved. Mrs. Margaret Cockron left this week for Tacoma, Washing1-ton, Washing1-ton, where she will visit the hospital hos-pital and bring home a patient. The regular monthly pot-luck dinner will be held in the form of an old fashioned picnic at the old c. C. camp. The St. Elizabeth Guild held its first round-table forum last Wednesday afternoon. The next forum is scheduled for July, 25, and will open with a luncheon at 12 noon. |
