Show 4-H CLUB CAMPS Eleven older 4-H members attended at-tended camp at Logan. They were as follows: Tabiona - Ro-zella Ro-zella Carlile, LaRena Nye, Nelda June Clegg; Bluebell - Cheryl Remington, Joan Goodrich, Marilyn Mar-ilyn Goodrich; Ioka - Keith Lemon, Lem-on, Terry Morrill; Roosevelt -Hazel Fredrickson, Karolyn Roberts, Rob-erts, Janice Anderton. These young leaders received excellent excel-lent training and gave assistance assist-ance as junior leaders the rest of the year. The annual County 4-H Club Camp was held in Uinta Canyon August 13, 14 and 15, with 122 leaders and members attending. Fern Shipley and W. E. Tan-green Tan-green were the visiting specialists. special-ists. The camp was directed by the following officers and committee com-mittee chairmen: Mayor - Donna Ross; assistant mayor - Nadene Ottosen; secretary - Maura Hurley; Hur-ley; chief of police - Twila Larson; Lar-son; campfire - Joan Goodrich; recreation - Marilyn Goodrich; handicraft - Rozella Carlile, Nelda Nel-da June Clegg, Larena Nye; competitive sports - Carolyn Roberts; flag raising - Maxine Hurley; clean camp - S h a u n a Gilbert; courtesy - Janice Anderton. Ander-ton. Handicraft consisted of Boon-Doggle Boon-Doggle braiding. Attendance was smaller this year, but it was a successful camp in many ways. |
