Show LEADERS' TRAINING . An organized effort was made to acquaint more people with 4-H Club work and to obtain additional leaders. Heads of church and civic groups in the county were contacted and their support solicited. A circular letter let-ter was prepared and sent out explaining the 4-H Club program and its advantages for young people. Three local leaders attended the State 4-H Club Leaders' Training School at Logan in February. Feb-ruary. They were Joan Blea-zard, Blea-zard, Jeanean Burton and Nadene- Ottosen. They took project work in Foods, Clothing and Home Improvement. The county Leaders' Training School was held in Roosevelt on May 3, with 43 leaders attending. at-tending. David Sharp, Fern Shipley and Sadie McConkie- assisted. as-sisted. Morning and afternoon sessions were held covering many phases of 4-H Club Work. On June 18, a training school was held for leaders of clothing clubs. One session was for 1st and 2nd year leaders, and another an-other session was for the ad-' vanced groups. Theat Johnson, clothing specialist, conducted the school. |
