Show ieetow-Semett Mrs. Fern Houston Mrs. Priscilla Hartle fell down the basement stairway last week at the home of her daughter, Mrs. John Haslem. She suffered two broken ribs and a bad cut on her head. She was hospitalized hospital-ized for three days at the Roosevelt Roos-evelt Hospital and is now again at the home of her daughter. Mr. and Mrs. Ned Coltharp and children and Mrs. George Houston and two boys went to Salt Lake City last week to see Santa Clause. Mr. and Mrs. Carl Lindley, of Provo, were week end visitors at the home of Mrs Lindley's parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Houston. Clair Haslem, Mr. and Mrs. John Houston and Mrs. Winfred Long attended funeral services at Lapoint last Thursday for Mrs. Roy Taylor. Mrs. Burnace McCowan fell recently and injured her knee, but is now able to get around. Little Miss Frances Ann Coltharp Col-tharp has been ill with a very bad attack of flu. The Bennett Oil Co. had a meeting recently at the ward house to discuss matters pertaining per-taining to their leases to the Phillips Petroleum Co. The oil rig is all down at the Leeton No. oil well. The first real oil flow started Tuesday Tues-day when the well was opened and allowed to flow into the pit. |
