Show Ordinance - BE IT ORDAINED, that beginning be-ginning January 1, 1952, the following fol-lowing water rate schedule shall be ettective: $8.00 per quarter per connection. , During the summer months, April througn September, there will be allowed 50.0UU gallons for the $b.U0 minimum and 15c per lOUO gallons shall be cnarged tor all excess. During the winter months, October through March, there shall be 25,000 gallons allowed for the $8.00 minimum and 15c per 1000 gallons for all excess. Services rendered to schools, churches and City departments shall be charged for on the basis outlined aDove. i'or City fire hydrants tnere shall be a charge of $3.00 per quarter per hydrant. hy-drant. BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED that all water accounts shall be payable on tne 15th day following follow-ing the quarterly period and such accounts as are not paid by the 15th day shall have a penalty added thereto of 10. Any acount not paid within thirty days of the end of the quarter snail be subject to "turn-off." "turn-off." A "turn-on" charge of $3.00 shall be made if service has previously pre-viously been turned off because of delinquent payment. BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, that City of Roosevelt coven ants and agrees witn tne purchasers pur-chasers and holders of the $160,-000 $160,-000 Water Revenue Bonds. Series Ser-ies of June 1, 1951, that as long as any of the bonds are outstanding, outstand-ing, the City will appoint and continue in office a manager of the water system and will affix af-fix upon him, among other responsibilities, re-sponsibilities, the1 responsibility to' carry out the "turn-off" provisions' pro-visions' for non-payment, and will require of him a surety bond in favor of the City in an amount of not less than $1,000. Said manager shall become personally per-sonally responsible for any service ser-vice charges for water which is served beyond the 60th day after af-ter the end of a quarterly period per-iod for which the service charges charg-es or any part thereof remain unpaid. : BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, that the City of Roosevelt covenants cov-enants and agrees with the purchasers pur-chasers and holders of the aforesaid afore-said bonds that the water rate schedule above designated will not be reduced until all of the said bonds and interest thereon shall have been paid and retired. BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, that this Ordinance be published as required by law. The adoption of the foregoing Ordinance was seconded by Councilman Steve Bellon, and passed unanimously. Other matters of business, not pertinent to the water project were then discussed and thereafter, there-after, upon the motion of Councilman Coun-cilman Paul Murphy, seconded by Councilman Bennie Schmiett. the meeting was adjourned by unanimous vote.
