Show Kiwanis Hears Talk On Agriculture; Plan Installation Louis A. Jensen, Duchesne County agricultural agent, was guest speaker at the regular weekly meeting of the Roosevelt Roose-velt Kiwanis club last night at the Frontier Grill. He presented an illustrated lecture on various activities carried on by the Extension Ex-tension Service, including 4-H club work, fertilizer projects, harvesting aflafla seed, and farming in general. Another brief speaker was John Percival, 12-year-old Ioka Had, who last fall won the first dairy calf in the club's 4-H club calf project. Miss Sherry Dennis, Den-nis, of Myton. sang two vocal solos. The program was arranged by the Agriculture-Conservation committee of the club, with Wil-ford Wil-ford Robinson, chairman, conducting con-ducting the meeting. January 2 was tentatively set as the date for the club's installation instal-lation of new officers. |
