Show Tiis Week's RECIPE ... The recipes this week will be some you will wish to add to your Christmas specialties. The Kifflin cookies remain fresh indefinitely if kept in a tight container, and the Crystallized Nuts are delicious for a holiday snack. Recipes were submitted by Mrs. Gordon Harmston. Kifflins 2 cubes soft butter 3 tbs. powdered sugar 1 cup ground nuts, floured 1V4 cups flour, sifted 1 tbs. vanilla Cream butter and sugar and add remaining ingredients. Form with fingers into tiny crescents Bake 30 minutes at 300 deg. (Be careful not to burn on bottom.) When baked roll in powdered sugar. |
