Show Whiterocks Girls Went To Spring Rally In Salt Lake City May 11 Twenty-four girls from St. Elizabeth's Eliz-abeth's Episcopal Mission in Whiterocks, made a trip to Salt Lake City last Friday to attend the Spring Rally of the Girls' Friendly Society, an international organization of the church. The entire program held for two days, was conducted at St. Paul's church. Girls from all parts of the state were in attendance, but the Whiterocks White-rocks delegation' was the largest from any church outside of Salt Lake City. The St. Elizabeth girls demonstrated demon-strated Indian dances and' sang Indian In-dian songs to the delight of the entire convention. Wearing authentic au-thentic costumes, they were easily the outstanding group. There was plenty of time for sight-seeing and a visit to Lagoon, the amusement park north of Salt Lake, where the numerous entertainment enter-tainment features were enjoyed by all. Pachez escorted the girls and transportation was provided by the Tribe. |
