Show Guests Saturday and Sunday at the Alva Snow residence were Mrs. Snow's sister and trother-m-law Mr. and Mrs. John H. Olsen and two children of Salt Lake. Sunday night guests of Mr. and Mrs. Snow were Mr. and Mrs. Vance Pope and family from An-mo, An-mo, Idaho. A business visitor to Spanish Fork, Wednesday, was E. Dwain Buchanan. Little Billie Gae Edwards is recovering re-covering from a minor operation performed at the Roosevelt Hospital Hos-pital Tuesday morning. Max Patry, 21, son of Mr. and Mrs. Bill Patry, was taken to the Roosevelt Hospital Friday night, following injuries received when his horse fell with him while riding rid-ing in the Neola Rodeo. He was released to his home Tuesday. Mrs. Marion Bowman arrived home Monday from the LDS Hospital Hos-pital and is recuperating from a minor operation. She was accompanied accom-panied by Mr. Bowman, who drove out to get her, and also Mr. Bowman's Bow-man's mother, Mrs. Eva Bowman, who is visiting here for a few days. Mr. and Mrs. Elroy Wilkins and sons, Ladd' and Brent, accompanied accom-panied by Mrs. Farrell Wilkins were Salt Lake City visitors last Thursday. Mr. and Mrs. Farrell Wilkins were business visitors in Salt Lake Wednesday of this week. Mrs. Erfna Labrum and son, Bob, left Monday morning for Tucson, Arizona, after receiving word that her daughter, Mrs Boye Clark, had been in an automobile accident acci-dent at .6:00 p.m. Sunday. Extent of her. injuries had not been determined. de-termined. Returning Monday night from a three-week trip to Florida were Mr. and Mrs. Axel Birch. They also al-so visited in Georgia with Mrs. Birch's brother and family. Mr. and Mrs. Presley Timothy received word that their son and daughter-in-law are parents of a new baby girl, born May 18 at Seattle, Washington. She weighed 8 lbs. 3 oz. The Timothys now have six grandchildren 3 girls and 3 boys. Congratulations to all concerned! New arrival will answer an-swer to "Royce Louise." Mrs. Norval Massey and children chil-dren of Rangely, Colo, spent from Friday to Tuesday with her parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. George Pulos. Mr. and Mrs. Pulos returned recently re-cently from a two-week trip to California, where they visited relatives rel-atives in San Jacinto. They enjoyed en-joyed a tour of the Los Angeles LDS Temple grounds and report a wonderful time. Mrs. Wesley R. Dickerson, accompanied ac-companied by her son, David, were Salt Lake City visitors Thursday. Mrs. Dickerson made the trip to be a guest at a bridal shower being be-ing given that evening for her daughter, Aria. Ruben Broderick is home on a short furlough from the U. S. Armed Forces from Ft. Ord, California Cali-fornia where he has been recev-ing recev-ing his basic training. He will leave May 28 for Missouri, where he will be stationed for schooling. Mrs. Wm. H. Ruppel, Jr. spent Sunday and Monday at home but left, Tuesday for Spanish Fork again, where she will "help her daughter, Yvonne Stewart,- and family for a few more weeks. Mrs. Stewart is recuperating from an operation. Larry Allred arrived home Wednesday, Wed-nesday, May 17, for a few weeks' visit. Mrs. Allred has been here visiting for the past sevedal weeks and will return with her husband May 28 to Scott Air Force Base at Belleville, Illinois, where the latter is ah instructor. - John S. Redmond returned last week from Anaheim, Calif., after spending the winter there. Norman Tanner and Mr. and Mrs. Boyd Redden and small son, Lyle, of Logan, spent Mother's Day with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Tanner of Myton, and Mrs. Reva Redden of Upalco. After a pot-luck lunch at the Redden home Sunday they returned to school. Norman, who has acted as treasurer trea-surer in the Agronomy Club and reported for his Delta Chapter the past year has been elected vice-president vice-president of Lamba Delta Chapter for the coming year. Mr. and Mrs. Darrell E. Lambert Lam-bert returned from a trip to California, Cali-fornia, where they visited thoir son, .:ay, and fam-iy. Accompanying Accompany-ing them were their daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. L. B. Higgins of Salt Lake City. Points of interest visited included in-cluded San Francisco, China Town, Fisherman's Wharf, Monterey and others. They also enjoyed an ocean cruise. |
