Show Ranger Station To Be Moved To Roosevelt In '55 Work began last week on clearing clear-ing debris from the two lots south of the Art Allen home on First East Street, recently purchased by the U. S. Forest Department from Mrs. Crystal Broderick. This cleaning clean-ing up job is being done to make room for the removal of the Elk-horn Elk-horn Ranger Station from White-rocks White-rocks to Roosevelt. According to William A. Worf. ranger on the Elkhorn division of the Ashley National Forest, contracts con-tracts were awarded to Ashton Brothers of Vernal for constructing the basement and remodeling the home and warehouse that will be moved from its present site in Farm Creek Canyon, north of Whiterocks. The moving contract was awarded to an Ogden firm. It is anticipated the entire job will be done and Mr. Worf -and his family will be moved into their new location by the latter part of August. Offices of the ranger will be moved to the Frandsen Building, Build-ing, where other Department of Agriculture offices are housed.
